Whoosh at Gosford Castle, the hidden gem!

Hidden, almost lost, in a forest in County Armagh, stands Gosford Castle. This 18th century castle combines traditional charm with comtemporary chic, has 11 acres of landscaped gardens, superb walled gardens and is surrounded by 600 acres of parkland. Gosford Castle is a remarkable venue for private and corporate functions, weddings or family get-togethers. Whoosh is proud to announce that it has added Gosford Castle to its list of venues and look forward to working with Gosford Leisure to provide its clients with an experience to remember. Menus for events held at Gosford Castle will be tailored to suit this fantastic setting. Superb food, superb venue!

Whoosh is always working on developing new mouthwatering dishes and is proud to introduce its new addition to the menu: the Vietnamese Spring Roll! Made up of a delicate blend of minced pork & vegetables wrapped in rice paper, then lightly fried and served with a spicy chilli & lime dip, Whoosh's Vietnamese Spring Rolls are crispy, light and simply delicious! They make the ideal snack, finger food for buffets or starter for dinner parties. The Spring Rolls are now also available from the Whoosh stall at the Causeway Speciality Market in Coleraine...

Whoosh at Lissanoure Castle: unique food, unique venue

Situated in Loughguile at the foot of the Glens of Antrim, Lissanoure Castle is a stunning venue for weddings or functions. Whoosh has now been added to Lissanoure's list of specialist caterers for wedding receptions/dinners and corporate events. Menus are tailor-made to suit each individual event and ingredients are thoughtfully selected to create a delicate balance of flavours and textures that an ideal meal should contain. Unique food and unique venue: the perfect recipe for a special event and an eating experience that will be remembered by all!

Whoosh Director appointed Business Mentor for The Prince's Trust

Our Director of Delicious Food, Thana Thammavongsa has recently been appointed as a Business Mentor for The Prince's Trust. Thana will assist The Prince's Trust Business Programme by mentoring and providing young people aged 18 to 30 with the support they require to develop their ideas, set up their business and ensure its success.

Over the last 25 years, The Prince's Trust Business Programme has helped over 4000 young entrepreneurs to set up businesses in Northern Ireland.

At Whoosh we are delighted to have the opportunity to support The Prince's Trust programmes and look forward to sharing our skills and experiences to help make a difference to young people's lives in Northern Ireland.

Whoosh Supporting Special Olympics Ireland

In support of the Special Olympics Ireland Fundraising Campaign 2009, Whoosh held a Thai Buffet Night at the Ice House in Portstewart on 20th March 2009. Local Thai food lovers attended the evening to support the fundraising event. The buffet included a range of fresh Thai dishes, served in a cosy and relaxed environment where all guests had the opportunity catch up with friends and family while enjoying an array of delicious food.

Proceeds amounting to £260.40 from this Thai Night were donated by Whoosh to Special Olympic Ireland.
